Good News Part 2: The Good News

He came. He succeeded where we failed. See how Jesus was able to redeem us from the fallen world. We were born to fail, but He was born to succeed.
In this episode, we examine justification through our faith as we touch on concepts fleshed out in Romans 3, 4, and 5. The Good News is actually amazing. Just as we were born to death under the sin of one man (Adam), so by the obedience of one man (Jesus) we are MADE righteous. So when God sees us, He sees us through the obedience of His son.
So through Christ we will surely be saved from God’s anger, because we have been made right with God by the blood of Christ’s death. While we were God’s enemies, he made us his friends through the death of his Son. Surely, now that we are his friends, he will save us through his Son’s life. And not only that, but now we are also very happy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we are now God’s friends again.
